First of all, let me say that I am not a doctor, a nutritionist or a dietitian. I’m just a wls patient like the rest of you. Everything, such as exercises, recipes, jokes, articles, cartoons, etc. has come from other websites or other people's postings unless specified. I try to remember to include the source, but more often than not I forget. Basically, this site is a catch all for information to help out bariatric patients. So, many thanks to all of those that have shared the information that has been gathered here (if you find your information here but not credit I apologize --- just let me know and I will correct the oversight).

After saying that I must insist that you all please follow your own doctor’s, dietitians, and/or nutritionist’s recommendations for you. Every doctor, dietitian and nutritionist is different. The stuff found on this site is what others have used along their journey. The recipes and other information might not pertain to you, but it may be helpful to others.

When a recipe is posted, if it doesn't have nutritional facts, you will have to figure those out on your own. They are usually recipes gotten from someone else and no stats were given. Please don't ask for a nutritional breakdown on them as this takes too much time looking up every ingredient and figuring it out.

Hi Everyone!

Today I figured I would start my first blog to go along with the site on Facebook. I figured I might be able to get some of these recipes sorted and make it easier to find things on here. Please bear with me as I am new to all of this.
